Definitely am in favor of going Greek once a week! Although I prefer the location off of Virginia because of the plentiful outdoor seating, this location has two great things going for it: room for parking, and lots of places to sit indoors for those rainy days like today. Beyond that, there's no difference in the flavor, price or customer service. My staple is the veggie wrap, delicious and well worth the $2.50. They're hummus isn't going to blow you away, neither will their baklava, but their potato slices and sauce more than make up for it! Good, welcome location (and there is outdoor seating...just very limited)

As soon as I walked in this place I figured that I wasn't going to get authentic greek food, and I was right. Although tasty enough for a quick dinner, this to me is not real greek food. They dont have Tzatziki. What Greek eatery doesnt have Tzatziki? Its some kind of concoction that pretty much resembles a house ranch in my opinion. I wanted to opt in for some potatoes, but they look like they were cooked that morning (this was about 7pm when I came in), and then they throw them on the grill to heat them up, so I passed on those. The tiny chicken gyro that I ordered already had my total a little over $5. The tiny gyro was filled with large chunks of chicken, which to most is good -but for me I like a balance. There were hardly no veggies on it. Good for a quick dinner....not so good if you want a good gyro. this doesn't get a nom, nom, nom....it gets a "meh".

It was my first time here. I was really craving for gyros so i figured that i could try this place since its on the southside. I've had better. It really wasn't authentic as I expected. The workers weren't really friendly. I wouldn't come to this place a second time.

Grecian Gyro: The Burger King of Greek Food. In my opinion, that means an excellent option for fast food, but fast food nonetheless. The gyro and potatoes were great, although not the most authentic I have ever had. They asked if I wanted sauce. The cashier described it as white sauce, which I thought meant Tzatziki and that the cashier was a dumbass. I was wrong, it was not tzatziki (not sure if she was, in fact, a dumbass). But, it was DELICIOUS! Overall a solid choice for lunch on the southside.

Gyro was good and a nice size to fill me up for lunch. Service was quick and friendly. And DO get the Greek Fries/Potatos with the sauce for them, they are awesome, and typically served at a very hot temp.

Whatever you do, do not forget to order the fries and the sauce. I would say that this is THE item that makes me dream about this place. The gyros are packed full of meat and the service is quick and friendly. Overall, a great place for lunch.

I love this place. If you are tired of the usual burgers and chicken buckets give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

I have been coming to Nicks for over 20 years and have NEVER left disappointed. The quality of the food is always fresh. The faces are always friendly and that keeps me coming back time and again. Dont miss a chance to try sonething outside your normal fare and you will be coming for 20 years or more. Dont forget forget to see Pam. She is top shelf.

The food was actually really good but the place is so dirty that I will never go back. If the front of the restaurant is this filthy then the back prep kitchen has to be disgusting. Please clean your restaurant because I would really like to eat here.

Good for a quick gyro. Platter was good and plenty. 5 star because it was quick, staff was nice and good. Seem like you can't mess up a gyro, right?

Busy for lunch during the week. Line was almost out the door. I had the Gyros plate, meat was ok 3 small slices, lots of potatoes. Menu was a solid Greek fast food.

The meat is amazing. They put way too much sauce and their side salads are always way too oily. Anytime I've asked them to take away the sauce on the meal, they forget it. It's really quite annoying how incompetent the people that work there are because the food is actually quite good. If you're a patient one I'd go.

This location doesn't have the ambiance of the original location on Virginia, but it is very convenient to where I work. So "fast soulless pita" tends to trump "fast dive pita", unless I'm in a romantic kinda mood. Yes, it's good. Yes, I don't know what the sauce is and I probably will shave 7 years off my life for eating as much of it as I do. Yes, it is absurdly quick. Yes, the feta pita is my pick. No, the people serving it to you aren't Greek (at least not in this location). No, I haven't been to Greece so I can't testify to its authenticity. No, I really don't care. If I'm feeling special I get hummus or the potatoes (or sometimes I get both and skip the pita). Sometimes if I'm feeling very special I get baklava. In those cases I come in with a feeling and go out with a filling - but thankfully there's work to rest up at before I need to go home. Enough philosophizing - heed to the Siren song of "Once a week, go Greek!"

Very good for my first "gyro" experience. A good value for the amount of food that you get. Close to work and ultra convenient. I'm a fan and will be back!

I'm a fan. I'm a huge fan of gyros, and they did not disappoint. I got it to-go, and unfortunately had to get on the phone with Comcast for about an hour before I could eat my dinner. Rest assured, when I finally had the opportunity to eat it, it hit the spot. I'd go back.

A top choice for fast food. Gyros, potatoes and Greek salads star on the menu. I like the Hapeville location better because it has that old grill which is seasoned by years of cooking. However, it is sheer excitement to have something better than McDonalds in the restaurant desert that is Forest Park.
